Salesforce said Coworker had more than 185,000 users. CIOs still need savings evidence Salesforce has not supplied.

Usage of Agentforce Coworker, its AI assistant for staff, grew 21 times in three months, Salesforce said.

It added a $50 per user, per month option, which it says makes Coworker "easier to budget as adoption grows".

Fulton Bank runs more than 20 Coworker uses for about 3,000 users. Adecco is expanding it across 40 countries. Versions for Microsoft Teams, iPhone, Mac and Windows are due this month.

Salesforce does not say how many of the 185,000 users pay the new price. If every one did, the arithmetic is $9.25 million a month, about $111 million a year. Its wider Agentforce line passed $1.5 billion in annual recurring revenue last quarter, iTWire reported.

For a CIO, a per-user price turns an AI assistant into a seat budget, like email or CRM. The user count Salesforce celebrates is the number finance will ask about at renewal.
