Privacy

What we collect. The email address you give us for the Brief, and the job role you choose with one click in an email, if you choose one. The name, company, email and message you send through the Sponsor and Ask forms. This site sets no advertising cookies.

Website measurement. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits, referring sites, worksheet download clicks, and accepted newsletter and sponsor forms. The custom events contain fixed source or format labels, not your name, email, company or message. An accepted newsletter form can include an address already on the list; it does not necessarily mean a new subscriber. We also use storage in your browser for the founding-reader view and saved stories.

Why. To send you the newsletter you asked for, to put the stories that matter to your job first, and to answer the message you sent. The newsletter may carry a clearly marked message from a sponsor, and now and then we may tell you about an ERP LEADERS offer such as membership or an event. The legal basis is your consent for the newsletter and our legitimate interest for the rest; one click on unsubscribe stops all of it.

Where it is kept. In a Supabase database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt), and with our email delivery provider for the purpose of sending the Brief. Both act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell addresses.

How long. Until you ask us to delete it. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe we keep only your address on a do-not-email list, so we never write to you again.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of what we hold about you at any time through the Ask form. We act within 30 days, usually the same week. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
