Salesforce renamed AIForce to SIForce. Trump's order binds only federal agencies.
Salesforce chief executive Marc Benioff announced the change on X: "The era of Super Intelligence is here.
AIForce is officially SIForce." The rename covers the company's AI agent platform, not the company itself, The Next Web reported on 10 October.
It follows an executive order of 29 September that told federal agencies to replace "artificial intelligence" with "super intelligence" in official documents and websites. On 9 October President Trump called anyone still using "artificial intelligence" an "enemy" on Truth Social, the report says. Elon Musk has renamed SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI. OpenAI and Scale AI did not respond to The Next Web.
The Next Web noted that the order does not require private companies to change their terminology, and that super intelligence usually means systems that far exceed humans across many fields, a threshold a rebrand does not establish.
