Oracle announced seven AI agents for HR and payroll, with no price or date. Oracle says employers stay responsible for their decisions.
Oracle introduced seven AI applications inside its Fusion Cloud HR software at the HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas, ERP Today reported.
They cover workforce planning and recruiting, as well as compensation and payroll.
One flags problems before a payroll run by reviewing timecards alongside imports and retroactive changes. Another weighs pay options against budgets and pay guidelines, then prepares plans for a person to review.
Oracle says the agents carry out "human-approved actions." How much each one does without a person is a setting the customer can change over time, ERP Today wrote. Oracle describes people approving every action at first, then letting agents handle routine tasks while they review the exceptions.
Customers remain responsible for employment decisions, Oracle says, and set their own oversight and approval rules. The announcement gave no availability dates and no pricing.
Our reading: an agent can prepare a pay plan, but by Oracle's own account the employer answers for it. That puts the weight on whoever approves the plan.

For your next steering committee
- 1Ask which AI tools already touch your ERP or finance data, including the ones nobody approved.
- 2Ask what each tool is allowed to change, and who reviews what it changed.
- 3Ask how the result is measured, and who decides to switch a tool off.
