Apple agreed to pay iPhone buyers about $25 each for Siri's delay.
The settlement website is live, MacRumors reported.
US buyers of an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model bought between 10 June 2024 and 29 March 2025 can claim until 21 December. The estimate is $25 per eligible iPhone, rising to as much as $95 if fewer people claim.
The class action charged Apple with false advertising. Apple had promoted personal context and on-screen awareness for Siri, along with deeper per-app controls, in commercials and marketing. It then delayed the personalised Siri in March 2025.
Apple "denies all of the allegations made in the lawsuit" and settled "to stay focused" on product development, MacRumors reported. The deal still needs court approval. A final hearing is set for 24 February 2027, and payments follow after that.
Enterprise software is sold on roadmaps too. The roadmap usually appears in the same slide deck as the features that already work.
Does any AI capability in your current vendor contract look available even though it remains on a roadmap?
