34,000 pre-orders. SAP has already run the pilot.
Humanoid, the London company behind HMND 01, told Forbes yesterday it holds more than 34,000 non-binding pre-orders for its wheeled industrial robot, worth roughly $2.4 billion of pipeline. Founder Artem Sokolov says pilots with SAP, Bosch, Siemens, Schaeffler and Ford are already complete.
The footage shows one of those pilots. In an automotive supplier plant with Martur Fompak, the robot picks up a crate and carries it to the line. The work order comes from SAP EWM in S/4HANA, which remains the system of record and dispatches the robot like a forklift that reports back.
The company is clear that the pre-orders are non-binding. Its service also includes teleoperators who can step in remotely. Autonomous carries an asterisk today.
Schaeffler is targeting a four-digit robot fleet across its plants by 2032. Getting there starts with master data: accurate bins and handling units, with clear ownership when a crate lands in the wrong aisle.
