Oracle launched 25 AI agent apps that call AI models less often.

Oracle launched Fusion Claw on Tuesday.

ERP LEADERS news desk · · First reported by Oracle / CIO.com / diginomica · Edition no. 23

It lets AI agents, programs that carry out tasks on their own, work inside Oracle's Fusion cloud business software. The release adds 25 new agent applications, taking Oracle's total to 75, up from 22 at launch.

An advanced AI model plans each task once. Routine transactions and calculations then run on ordinary software, which Oracle says makes complex work affordable at scale.

Financial reconciliation and workforce staffing are among the first applications. Each run records the result and the permission used. It also keeps the evidence behind it.

Claw runs on Oracle's cloud and uses models from Google's Gemini and OpenAI.

Scott Bickley of Info-Tech Research Group told CIO.com that prepaid AI units left unused in a shared pool expire, and customers are not reimbursed. Oracle can also change the actions and AI models the software uses with at least 30 days' notice.

If the AI units you prepay can expire, who tracks them before they do?
