OpenAI said its models will reach 3 clouds in the coming weeks. Procurement teams check whether terms differ.
OpenAI said its models will be available to developers through Google Cloud, CNBC reported on 21 October.
Its GPT products are coming to Google's library of AI models and its Antigravity coding tool "in the coming weeks."
That puts OpenAI's models on all three of the biggest US cloud providers. Amazon started hosting them in April, after Microsoft's exclusive licence ended.
Most business spending on AI goes to OpenAI and Anthropic, according to data from corporate card issuer Ramp cited by CNBC. Some company IT departments also use Google's Gemini models.
For procurement teams, that means comparing terms for the same models across cloud contracts the company may already hold.
CNBC's report gives no prices or contract terms for the Google Cloud channel. Whether they differ from buying through Microsoft or Amazon remains an open question.
