FedEx took 53 electric trucks from Harbinger. Then it ordered 2,000 for $300 million.

FedEx has ordered 2,000 electric delivery trucks from Harbinger in a deal valued at $300 million, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.

ERP LEADERS news desk · · First reported by Bloomberg via TechCrunch · Edition no. 25

All of them are expected by the end of 2027, according to TechCrunch.

Harbinger, founded in 2022, had delivered 53 trucks to FedEx before this order. It is the start-up's largest bulk order so far.

FedEx is also an investor. It led Harbinger's $160 million funding round in late 2025, TechCrunch reported, and the truck maker is reportedly weighing a stock market listing.

The arithmetic: $300 million for 2,000 trucks is an average of about $150,000 a truck, though the reports give no unit price. The order is almost twice the round FedEx led. The schedule is the harder number: about 15 months for 2,000 trucks, after 53 delivered to FedEx so far, or roughly 133 a month.

TechCrunch's report carried no comment from FedEx or Harbinger.

Would you place a $300 million order with a supplier you also fund?
