A study for CCIA Europe, a lobbying group whose members include Amazon and Google, puts the EU's proposed cloud rules at €115 billion over ten years, The Register reported. The European Commission's upper estimate is €18 billion. 3. Accenture, with more than 800,000 staff, expects its staff numbers to keep growing despite AI, though more slowly, MarketBeat reported from its 14 October investor day. 4. US Customs and Border Protection is preparing an order worth $50 million to $100 million to plan its move to S/4HANA, SAP's current finance software, ExecutiveGov reported. The forecast gives no cost for the move itself.
