Oracle said 13,000-plus NetSuite customers plug in Claude or ChatGPT. Its own assistant has worked only in the US and Canada.
Also in 30 seconds: Bosch's savings from 10 AI tools built with SAP, and roughly 30% lower HR operating costs at the brewer Lion after a ServiceNow rebuild, by the partner's count.
1. Craig Sullivan, head of product management at Oracle NetSuite, said more than 13,000 customers use AI through a connector that links Claude, ChatGPT and other outside chatbots to NetSuite, diginomica reported from SuiteWorld on 26 October. NetSuite's own assistant, Ask Oracle, has been available only in the US and Canada; the UK rollout starts now. The source gives no total customer count, so the 13,000 is not a share of NetSuite's base.
2. Robert Miller of Bosch Digital, the IT unit of Bosch, told SAP TechEd that 10 custom AI tools built with SAP are live and "delivering already several millions of savings," diginomica reported on 27 October. He gave no currency or exact figure. Rolling out SAP's new Joule assistant across Bosch needs "reliable answers and faster response time," he said.
3. EY, the implementation partner, says HR operating costs at Lion, which has about 6,000 staff, improved by roughly 30% after EY rebuilt the ServiceNow portal Lion already owned, ERP Today reported on 27 October. The figures come from the firm paid to do the work; the report gives no project cost and quotes no one from Lion.
For AI inside your ERP, would you rather use the vendor's own assistant or an outside chatbot like Claude or ChatGPT?
