1. Norwegian startup Vegalabs used Anthropic's Claude AI through Azure Marketplace, Microsoft's online store for cloud software, in August. Its Microsoft for Startups credits do not cover Anthropic models bought there, The Register reported. Vegalabs does not dispute the usage. Microsoft said Azure Support cannot waive Marketplace charges. Anthropic did not respond. 2. SAP launched SAP Pay in the US and UK for customers of SAP Cloud ERP, its cloud business software, ERP Today reported. Tereina, the payment company SAP founded in April, runs it. It supports stablecoins, digital money pegged to the dollar or euro, from Circle. Neither company named a fee. 3. Tata Consultancy Services reported AI revenue running at $3.1 billion a year, more than 10% of the total, Business Today reported. Its staff grew by a net 4,258 in the September quarter. 4. DSAG, the German-speaking SAP user group, surveyed 198 member companies, rz10.de reported. 43% used AI. Of those, 77% had other vendors' AI in daily use and 3% had SAP's. The survey closed in January, before SAP launched Joule Work.

Before you deploy a model from a cloud marketplace, does anyone check whether your credits cover it: yes or no?
