Infor's AI took over a distributor's invoices. Five AP staff became one.

Infor published the customer film on 2 October. State Electric Supply, an electrical distributor in West Virginia, moved to Infor CloudSuite about three years ago and now runs Infor's AI tools on top of it.
Vendor and expense invoices arrive by email. An AI document processor picks them up from the mailbox and enters them into the ERP. "We were able to reduce our dedicated AP staff down to one resource who's just dedicated to looking at exceptions," Aaron Roma, State Electric's director of IT, says in the film. Infor puts it at five people to one and about 1,500 hours saved a year.
The same film credits AI pricing with a 1% increase in average profit margin and 40% fewer price overrides by sales reps. It says product suggestions bring in about $25,000 of extra revenue a month.
The film does not say whether the other four AP employees left or moved to other work, or how invoices are matched to purchase orders before posting. The numbers are the company's own, in a vendor film.
If one person now handles only exceptions, who owns vendor queries and month-end in your AP team?
