The company serves more than 70 million customers a day across more than 46,000 restaurants.

McDonald's calls its restaurant AI system ArchIQ. Its assistant for staff is Archy.

The stock-tracking AI saves about five hours of staff time a week and cuts food waste by 15%, the company said. McDonald's also said AI monitoring of kitchen equipment improved the availability of key equipment and menu items by about 50%.

An automatic order check catches 10% of orders with a mistake before they reach the customer.

McDonald's uses Google edge technology, which puts computing inside the restaurants, in seven major markets so far. It plans the US rollout for 2027.

These are McDonald's own figures. The report did not include independent checks.

Which of these numbers would you ask McDonald's to prove first?
